One of the things Enid Lake is best known for is its plentiful fishing opportunities. There are large numbers of largemouth bass, bream, catfish, and crappie. Enid Lake has held two world records for fishing, including white crappie coming in at 5.3 pounds and shortnose gar that weighed 5.83 pounds. In order to take home your catch, crappies must be over 12 inches long, and there is a bag limit of 20 per person. To make use of these abundant fishing opportunities when camping at Enid Lake, you must have a fishing permit that can be obtained by the State of Mississippi and then choose to either fish from the shore or out on a boat.

Camping at Enid Lake

There are two main campgrounds around Enid lake, which are available for campers with RV rentals to make use of. Both campgrounds are clean and spacious with large RV sites and offer 30, 50 amp hookups along with water and sewer facilities. Wallace Creek CEO Campgrounds has sites either nestled in the pine woods and with beautiful lake views. All sites are paved and come with a fire ring, lamp post, and a parking apron.
