Camping at Okhissa Lake
Camping is not allowed at Okhissa Lake, but there are many campgrounds in the general area. A few miles west is the Clear Springs Campground, located deep in the Homochitto National Forest and offering a beautiful, secluded camping area. Along with electric and water hookup sites, there are restrooms with showers, and each site has a fire ring. This is primitive camping in a peaceful woodland setting next to a 12-acre spring-fed lake.
