Let's start with a few questions to narrow down your options.
Bismarck is a city in St. Francois County, Missouri that was first planned in 1868. Its initial growth as a community resulted from the success of local farming ventures and its proximity to the intersection of two railroad lines. The founders and city planners hoped to attract German immigrants and therefore named the city after German Chancellor Prince Otto Eduard Leopold von Bismarck. Bismarck was incorporated in 1877 as a town, but the status was revoked in 1881 and then reinstated later. With the exception of Main and Center Streets, all of the original streets in Bismarck were named after trees.
