The two states of Nevada and Arizona share a border defined by the gorgeous Lake Mohave. The mighty lake is a reservoir built on the Colorado River between the Hoover Dam and Davis Dam and is a part of the Lake Mead National Recreation. Covering over 28,000 acres of surface area, and with 200 miles of shoreline, Lake Mohave is a recreational hub for outdoor enthusiasts from both the states and beyond.

Camping at Lake Mohave is a great way to soak in some peace and tranquility while indulging in the scenic surroundings of the lake that include canyons and cliffs that stretch out in the far distance. Such is the natural landscape around the lake that there is very little development, and barring a few resorts and campgrounds scattered along the way, and you can be assured of a complete disconnect from busy city life!

Lake Mohave is not too far from Laughlin, NV, and Boulder City, NV, where you’ll find a range of affordable RV rentals in Clark County that make commuting in the area pretty convenient. While renting an RV is the best way to get around, you could also make use of your ride to travel to the nearby Gold Strike Hot Springs! At the lake itself, water sports, fishing, boating, and swimming are the biggest attractions for visitors.

Wake speeds are enforced in certain areas of the lake and must be observed. For those without their watercraft, rentals are available at Cottonwood Cove.
