Lake and Shore RV Resort is located in southern New Jersey, close to the shore of the Atlantic Ocean. It is just outside of the beach town of Sea Isle City. The area is a very popular vacation destination during the summer because of its beautiful weather and seaside scenery. The nearest large city to the campground is Philadelphia, which is just over an hour's drive away. New York City is also within day-tripping distance, less than three hours' drive away.The campsites at Lake and Shore RV Resort come with a wide range of amenities. Sites with full hookups are available, and you can purchase WiFi connectivity for an additional fee. There are clean restrooms and showers as well as a laundry facility. There's also a campground store where you can pick up basic camping necessities.For entertainment, there is a large water park area, as well as a spa with a hot tub. There is also a waterfront spot for fishing as well as trails for hiking and biking. Recreational facilities include a mini-golf course, basketball and volleyball courts, and areas for shuffleboard, horseshoes, and bocce ball. On rainy days, guests can head to the indoor game room with billiards. Pets are welcome and there is a small dog park. There's also a playground area for kids.

There are lots of outdoor activities to enjoy when you go RV camping at Lake and Shore RV Resort. The beautiful Cape May National Wildlife Refuge is located just north of the campground. This area supports hundreds of bird species as well as plants, mammals, and reptiles, and is a very popular place to go bird watching. The refuge also has beautifully preserved wetlands and beach habitats. There are no designated trails, and it's important to respect the wildlife habitats when exploring the area. Hunting is allowed in specific parts of the refuge.Lake and Shore RV Resort is also a short drive from the Cape May County Park and Zoo. This sprawling park has plenty of opportunities for outdoor recreation, including an extensive network of paths for walking and biking. There are also several fishing ponds within the broader park system. The Richard M. Cameron Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the northern section of the park. It is a popular place for bird watching. Once an Owner approves your RV reservation, you can coordinate a time to pick up your rig or have it delivered to your doorstep or campsite. At that point, the owner will do a key exchange with you and walk you through the RV and answer any questions you might have.
