Let's start with a few questions to narrow down your options.

Sharp Bridge Campground was first opened on the banks of the Schroon River in New York, way back in 1920 with a single campsite. The campground has been continuously updated ever since and now has 40 sites, with RV camping available for trailers up to 45 feet long. The Sharp Bridge Campground campsites are tucked in amongst the trees giving a peaceful, secluded camping experience in your rental RV. It’s the perfect spot for anyone that enjoys hiking, with many excellent trails close by, plus there is fishing available from the banks of the Schroon River. Boating and water sports are available locally at the many ponds and lakes. Load up the family and enjoy this ideal RV campground to use as a base for exploring the Adirondack High Peaks region.
Sharp Bridge Campground doesn’t offer and electrical or water hookups, but there are restrooms and hot showers available, along with plenty of drinking water spigots. Charge your rental RV batteries using a generator if needed, or simply live off-grid for a while and enjoy the beautiful countryside. Picnic facilities are provided onsite next to the river for alfresco eating in a lovely location.
This is a great area to get outdoors, but civilization is not that far away! To the north is the small town of Elizabethtown, NY, and to the east, Port Henry, NY, is located on the banks of Lake Champlain. A visit to Elizabethtown could make a nice family day out, with the Hand-Hale Historic District to discover and the Bouquet River flowing through the town that is great for fishing. There’s also a golf course in the town and many more within just a few miles.
