Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site is in Buffalo, NY, on the far western side of the state. It is situated a scant two miles from the Niagara River, which forms the international border with Canada. Other large cities nearby are Rochester, at around 75 miles to the northeast, and Cleveland, OH, which is almost 200 miles to the southwest.

Events, such as concerts and climbing activities, are often held here during the summer months as well.
