Carowinds Camp Wilderness Resort
Carowinds Camp Wilderness Resort provides the perfect backdrop for your rustic outdoor family adventure! At over 55-acres, Camp Wilderness offers over 140 deluxe RV sites, 56 tent/ pop-up sites and 15 cabins. Wake up to a day full of fun! Plus, registered guests can purchase specially discounted Carowinds admission tickets! The campground is adjacent to Carowinds and shuttle service is provided. Camp Wilderness features RV, Pop-up and Tent Sites and can accommodate RVs up to 40 feet in length. The paved RV sites feature full hookups with water, sewer and electric. Fifty of the sites have upgraded, 50-amp service. In addition, there are 56 spacious tent and pop-up sites with water hookups and 30-amp electric service. Every site also features a charcoal grill. The RV site is open all year round and includes a Trading Post with General Store, picnic tables at each site, and a bathroom facility with hot showers, Guests also may enjoy a swimming pool (Memorial Day to Labor Day), and shuffleboard and cornhole. The Park features 24 hour security.

The facilities include full hook-up with 30/50 amp, walking and biking path, bathhouse, laundry room, covered shelter, recreation room, fishing, swimming pool, Wi-Fi, cable, and more. Just northeast of Huntersville, North Carolina, you will find Wildlife Woods Campground on the shore of Lake Norman. The campground is terraced, giving each large site views of the lake. The gravel sites have full hookups and have space to maneuver. Enjoy a breakfast in the fresh air at your picnic table, and end the day by sitting around your campfire built in the site's fire ring. There are washrooms and showers at this lakefront campground. The atmosphere is peaceful, and you'll find you don't even miss having wi-fi. Keep everyone busy with a round of mini-golf, or bring your boat for a cruise on the lake. The campground has good lake access. Enjoy a dip in the sparkling swimming pool, or shoot some pool or play arcade games in the indoor games room.
