The Great Outdoors

If you want to know more about the history of Shelby while exploring the great outdoors, then you should plan a trip to Kings Mountain State Park. Kings Mountain is the site of the famous battle involving Isaac Shelby, and visitors can even watch reenactments of the campaign. There's plenty of hiking to do too, with various trails ranging from just over a mile to 16 miles in length. There are also two lakes here, ideal for fishing, with bass, bream, and crappie as favorite catches.

Shelby is a mid-sized and famous city, and as a result, anything essential can be found within its limits.
