Streetsboro/ Cleveland SE KOA Campground offers three different types of RV sites. Pull-Through, Full Hookups with 50/30 amp and cable sites offer easy entrance and exit and long enough to handle your rig and tow without unhooking. These are very popular sites but limited in number. 3 night maximum stay please. Back-in, Water/Electric, 50/30 amp and Cable sites are spacious sites, near restrooms. Perfect for the larger pop ups smaller travel trailers and motorhomes. Dump station available. Book early, you'll be glad you did. Back-in, Water/Electric, 30/20 Amp with Cable are great sites for pop up or tent campers who want a little more. Near the restrooms. These go quickly so be sure to book right away.After you are taken to your site, you can take a stroll back to the General Store to see what treats will tempt you. There are the many varieties of fresh fudge (made right here) or a plethora of wonderful flavors of ice cream that will make your taste buds happy.
Shenango Recreation Area
Shenango Recreation Area is situated within the broad, flat, meandering valleys of the Shenango River and Pymatuning Creek in Sharon,Pennsylvania approximately 21 miles northeast Youngstown, Ohio. Shenango Recreation Area is a popular spot for camping, boating and fishing.
Shenango River Lake stretches 11 miles up its namesake river, covering over 11,000 acres. The shore is lined with a northern hardwood forest of shady and colorful trees such as Black Cherry, Beech, Maple and Hemlock.This large campground contains over 300 campsites, many of which have electric hookups. Flush toilets, drinking water, showers and a dump station are provided. A playground, horseshoe pit and boat ramp are on-site. RV accommodations include pull-thu sites, big rig access, pool access, and river waterfront access. Amenities include electric,and .water.Shenango Recreation Area provide a cozy and comfortable location to enjoy the many outdoor activities in this corner of Pennsylvania and Ohio. Youngstown is a convenient 30 minute drive away.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum
For any of you out there who is a music fan, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is the perfect place to go. As you approach the museum, you will hear music blaring out of speakers, and there is quite often a band playing in the grounds. The design of the building is spectacular, the highlight being a glass pyramid. There is so much to see here that you should reserve the whole day for visiting. You can go to the cafe and get a light lunch, while looking out onto the lake. There are quite a few floors, so it's probably best to start at the basement. Here there is plenty of music history and many artifacts, such as instruments and clothes belonging to the stars, as well as original song notes, personal effects, and recording equipment. The exhibits come from all genres of music and different eras, starting from the early 1900s. There are less exhibits as you go up the floors , but there are interactive music booths, which are great fun for both adults and children. On the top floor, there is an auditorium which plays videos about different stars an music in general. In addition, they have temporary exhibits and evening concerts.
Erie KOA is a beautiful "kid friendly" campground offering fun for the whole family. Go fishing or paddle boating in our catch and release pond, swim in our heated pool, ride our pedal carts and banana bikes, or walk our pygmy goats. Throughout the summer they have movies and weekend ice cream socials. Jam to their DJ entertainment on holiday weekends. Enjoy the recreation room for air hockey, pool, ping-pong and arcade games. You will certainly enjoy the improvements and additions the campground has put in the last couple of years, including deluxe patio sites, cottages, lodges, a new restroom in the tent area and more sewered and longer RV sites. Make your reservations early. The campground is only 9 miles from Presque Isle. This popular destination offers sandy beaches for sunbathing and nature trails for biking and hiking. This peninsula on Lake Erie, is a safe harbor for your pleasure boating and provides wetlands for bird viewing or canoeing. Facilities include max amp, wi-fi, cable TV, pool, snack bar, firewood, bike rentals, and more.
West Haven RV Campground & Park
Just outside of Erie, Pennsylvania lies West Haven RV Park and Campground. A short drive from Erie, West Haven RV Park offers full hookups, pull through sites, and big rig access. Sites are leveled and easy to get in to. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained, as is the whole park. Sites are designated for RVs or tent camping. There is a stocked pond for fishing for, and a sparkling clean pool for swimming. There is a small playground for the kids, pet area for the dogs, and access to walking trails for everybody. It is a very peaceful and quiet place, with some sites offering wonderful views. Sites vary from wooded to quite open, and many have a picnic table and fire ring. West Haven is conveniently located near Erie, Pennsylvania and all its amenities. It is also not far from Presque Isle State Park and other area attractions.
