Discover Keystone Lake RV rentals for memorable road trips

Keystone Lake is located in Oklahoma and is an impoundment of the Arkansas and Cimarron Rivers created in 1968 by the building of Keystone Dam to provide flood control and hydroelectric power for the local area. The project also included the development of two park areas, Walnut Creek Park and Keystone State Park, both operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers (COE), and 16 recreational areas.

Getting outdoors

With 16 recreational areas, there is plenty to do at Keystone Lake, and as you’d expect, fishing is a very popular pastime. A large range of species is available, including various types of bass and catfish, crappie, bluegill, and many more. With around 330 miles of shoreline, you should always be able to find a quiet location to enjoy your fishing, plus there is plenty of space on the water as well.

Camping at Keystone Lake

Walnut Creek Park was formally a state park, but in 2014 it was downgraded and is now a COE park with camping facilities on the western side of Keystone Lake. With 140 gravel campsites, a limited number of full hookup sites, and over half having water and electric hookups, this could make a lovely area for RV camping at Keystone Lake. On-site are modern restrooms with showers, a playground, and a boat ramp, but little else, so this is a more basic campground that could be perfect for getting close to nature.

Wonderful people to work with. So helpful and even went to buy me a blanket when I was cold. You will not be disappointed.

Michelle was the perfect host and the RV was outfitted with everything that would be needed to enjoy a trouble free weekend. My family and I used the trailer extensively between concerts and was perfect place to prepare meals and have family time playing games. I have nothing negative to report regarding my experience with this trip, where the RV is concerned, and have told Michelle that, if we buy tickets for next year's Rocklahoma, I hope that her RV will be available for us again.

Adrian's RV is beautiful and like a home on wheels. It was beyond comfortable. Although it rained almost every day, we had a great time. The RV came with all the essentials and more. We used the Blackstone grill every day. We loved it!
