The Great Outdoors

After you pick up your Vida camper rental head to the nearby Ben and Kay Dorris State Park. The Park spans 79 acres and has a boat landing and picnic sites within its boundaries. It also overlooks Class III Marten Rapids, which is the best known of the McKenzie River rapids. Located just under a mile east of the park entrance is The Rock House, a rock overhang where pioneer road builder John Templeton Craig was said to have stayed. This is a neat spot to explore as long as you’re up for tackling a very steep grade to reach the House.

RV Parks

Campgrounds and RV parks are easily accessible when it comes time to park your Vida motorhome rental after a day of exploring. You can choose to immerse yourself fully in nature as well as discover convenient proximity to supplies and services.

Exploring the City

One thing that you must do with your Vida travel trailer rental is take a drive to the Goodpasture Covered Bridge, located just off Highway 126 at the Leaburg Dam near Vida and stretching across the river. Built in 1938, this historic landmark is Oregon’s second longest covered bridge. As you marvel at the 165-foot long structure’s charming architecture including 10 gothic style louvered windows, you’ll see why it is one of the most photographed covered bridges in the state.

The van was great, and Bennett was extremely helpful and thoughtful. We will definitely rent here again!

I drove the van to Lake Tulloch in Ca for a family reunion. Then back up to Patrick’s Creek campground on the Smith River. The van handles well and worked great for me except for not being able to charge my phone. I didn't have power at the campground and the van pug-ins only work when the van is hooked up to power.

The Wandering Goose was a perfect trailer for our trip. It fit our family of four perfectly. Clean and comfortable.
