Chevy conversion van, seats five, sleeps four, two in the roof top tent and two on the electrically-operated fold down bed. Van is equipped with 2000W inverter running off 200AH batteries, includes a 59 qt. portable frig powered full time by the house batteries. Microwave, coffee maker, toaster, mini-blender, and air fryer run off the AC inverter. Propane stoves for more power-extensive cooking. Portable solar panel and a 2000W portable generator provide emergency backup if needed. The van was built to have everything you need for dry-camping. Renters have used it in campgrounds, off-the highways, at rest areas, and other places.
Van is maintained according to recommended schedule, goes through a complete check and road-tested by the Master Mechanic (Me) before each trip. Has small sink for brushing , light washing, 40 gallon fresh water tank under the floor could be filled for long showers at camp grounds. Diesel heater installed for winter camping. Hot external outside shower is set up at the back of van.
The lower bed is extendable to 80 in. Long , 56 inch wide. The roof tent sleeps 2 adults (80 x 50 inch) and used to store bedding supplies. The additional roof top tray with the supplied bag can carry another 15 cu ft. of cargo plus another 10 cu ft from the hitch carrier box.
The van is much more quiet and pleasant to drive than a class C, functionally (place to sleep, cook, eat, and relax after exploring) the same as a much more expensive, new camper van ($75K +), cost effective, efficient and a perfect fit for two people also workable for larger parties. Much more versatile/econ. alternative than hotel + rental car + rest meal option (rental cost is same as 2 1/2 star hotel room charge. Save a ton of money cooking your own meals vs. paying absurdly overpriced-rest. charges (like paying $17 for bacon/egg breakfast while you can cook for $2 and save 1/2 hour of yr life . Lastly, full-frame Chevy is safer than a similar vehicle without a frame.
What's includedI do not charge prep fee to keep the rental cost affordable and do not like to nickel and dime people (ten dollars for this twenty dollars for that, and so on...). Everything you need for camping will be provided at no extra charge.
Will try to accommodate your request so you'll have a wonderful trip. Two sets of sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels are provided. Small table, chairs, mini-kitchen (installed at the back of van) includes essential kitchen utensils, dinnerware set for 4, coffee maker, toaster, rice cooker, air fryer , portable 2-burner stove, mini magic bullet blender, 1 set of pots and small 10 " frying pan. Also a portable toilet is also provided.
RecommendationsWe've taken the van to San Diego, Yosemite, Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Glacier National Park, and San Juan islands. Renters used it to tour Oregon and Washington, Calif. redwoods, Yosemite, Kings Canyon, LA and San Diego, Sequoia National Parks, Lake Tahoe, Olympic Peninsula, and the Midwest. Other things to noteEarly pickup and late return maybe accommodated if no conflict with subsequent rental and specified in advance. Otherwise, if there is conflict, half day rental will be charged. If the provided portable toilet is not returned CLEAN, $100 will be charged for a new toilet and the renter can keep the old one.

I built this van as my hobby after retiring from 35 years of automotive engineering. Originally bought to save on my hotel bills when taking my daughter to out of town, regional soccer tournaments, spent 2 years to fix all mechanical issues and gradually converted to a self-contained camper van to make my van-stay more comfortable.
