2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter
This is a 4x4 high roof luxury adventure machine with enough room for any outdoorsy person. It’s bamboo accents and professional buildout are made for those who want to feel at home in a modern space and sleep well in the process on a queen sized bed with 6" organic mattress.Mercedes loads it up with 360° cameras, touchscreen entertainment center and onboard WiFi.The van features tons of gear-hauling options, big "garage," an overhead cabinet for food and pantry items, locking valuable cabinet under the bench seat and upper headliner shelf to carry all of your clothes or frequently used items.The drawer-style refrigerator is accessible from both the inside or outside, as is the faucet. The sink is a full-size washtub and the bamboo countertops provide plenty of room for food preparation. A 5-gallon water tank provides enough water for a couple of days and the pressure is good enough for an outdoor rinse if you get too wild and need a spray-down. The swivel table is perfect for a dining table for 2 or a card table for up to 4.The front swivel seats transform the space into a space to hang out and relax and allow for a flexible space to work or lounge.The lithium battery charges off of the vehicle alternator and provides enough power to live comfortably during the day, run a heater through the night and keep batteries of your electronics charged for a day or two without having to worry about charging. It also has a simple 120v plug you can use to stay charged with any outlet or campground with electrical RV hookups. Dimmer lights, 12v and USB plugs are all through the van and an inverter delivers 2 outlets with 110v power. An onboard battery monitor helps track your battery usage.A roof fan helps keep things cool and dry and air circulated year-round. A diesel heater under the passenger seat can be used if the nights get chilly.Can sleep add'l people with some reconfiguring and additional bike racks are optional for carrying your bikes in our outside the vehicle.What's includedBed sheets, pillows, blankets, 2 beach towels, basic cooking gear and utensils are included (forks, knives, spatulas, bowls, cups, etc...). We provide an Aeropress for a coffer maker but are happy to provide others if preferred.A butane grill and fuel is included with a kettle and pans. We encourage outdoor cooking as cooking oils can smell up the joint but if you must, there is an exhaust fan to run while cooking.The van easily holds 2 bikes with the front tires removed or an additional 2-bike rack can be added to carry bikes outside, or combined to carry a total of 4 bikes.We provide an outdoor table and camp chairs as well as a hatchet, shovel, and hammock made for two.The window covers provided block out the light but also insulate the van in warm/cool nights. RecommendationsWhile this is a 4x4, we require you to keep this off of the trails. The 4wd/AWD system is more of an insurance factor to get you out of a sticky situation that we’d rather the van not be in anyway. There is plenty of clearance to take this to any gravel road or hairy trailhead parking lot but that is the extent.This is an insulated van but would not be a great winter camper in very cold climates. We’d encourage you to keep it above freezing temps to ensure the plumbing and electrical stay performing as expected.Oregon coast, California coast, Mt. Hood, Olympic Peninsula, Seattle, Mt. St. Helens, Rainier...all good options in this road tripper.We love taking it to all of the hot springs around the PNW. There are hundreds in the area and it's a guaranteed way to get a good night's sleep after soaking in hot mineral waters!Other things to noteIt’s a DIESEL. All you have to know that is different is that you use diesel fuel NOT gasoline!It’s a high roof. That means no drive-thru’s and be careful parking under low hanging branches.It’s our baby so please treat it well. Be cool and we will do the same.No pets
