Sam was a pleasure to rent from. He helped us feel at ease with our first RV experience from Hawaii and enabled us to have priceless memories. I would recommend him to everyone. Our family extends much love and aloha.

This is a nice RV. There were a couple issues that, if / when addressed, would make this a much higher rating. We found out just a few days before of 2 problems (broken/missing awning and no AC in cab) that if we had been notified sooner, we would have switched our reservation to somewhere else. We decided it wasn’t worth the effort to switch. The big issue we had otherwise was a battery that wouldn’t hold a charge and died on us in the middle of the night on two different nights and started blaring a crazy loud sound around 3am that woke us all up. Spent half a day going away from our campground to get cell signal to troubleshoot with owner via outdoorsy text messaging.

The owner and host was very nice and gave us a full tutorial on how to use the vehicle. The vehicle itself was a little disappointing. He had emailed the night before to let us know the awning was broken off, and offered up a shade tent to use instead. The glass on the cooktop was also broken and had to be held down by a bungee cord. He also failed to mention that the AC in the cab was broken until we discovered after we had headed out on our trip. that was rough in 85+ degree heat and we had to drive with windows open which was very loud. He mentioned that he knew about that prior to us leaving, but did not disclose that information. I think a discount or some credit for the wear and tear that the vehicle would be appropriate, but I got no response from the owner on that after I had asked when we were back. Overall it was great to sleep in and we enjoyed having access to the fridge as well. But when renting a "2021" vehicle my expectation was to get a rental that was in way better condition and not so worn down.
