This 1964 Oasis "Sixteen" comes well appointed, authentic original and fully loaded with ephemera and memorabilia from the mid 60's. Perfect for unplugging and relaxing in the good old days. Can be pulled by many SUVs and trucks. If you love vintage vibes or just like to camp in unique style this is a great trailer for you.Systems: The water system is a basic pressurized steel tank assisted by city water service or manually pumped air. Electric service is a single circuit 15 amp system that runs the lights and power outlets. Stored in the trailer is a portable ceramic heater for cooler nights. Liquid propane powers a mantle wall light and the original Magic Chef range. Running the water systems and toilet requires onsite sewer service in most cases. The original refrigerator has been downgraded to an ice box. A gas powered generator is available as an add-on, but without a battery system it’s only useful while it’s running.Towing: The trailer is just under 3,000 lbs. fully loaded. Drivers with some experience towing are preferred. There’s no brake assist so I require vehicles rated with 4,500 lb tow capacity to assure safe braking and handling capabilities.A few simple rules for this trailer:- Renters are required to thoroughly empty and rinse the black water tank before returning the unit. There will be a $150 penalty for failure to dispose of black water waste properly and as instructed during handoff.
