A Brake Controller IS Mandatory and must be installed in the tow vehicle Prior to your pick-up date. This will be inspected on pick-up date, and the travel trailer will not be released to leave without having a break controller installed and properly working in the tow vehicle. The tow vehicle must have Liability Insurance coverage that extends from the back of the truck to the end of the trailer (this info. is verified at time of reservation). While being towed, the travel trailer may not be occupied by passengers. The Electrical power source needs to be plugged into a minimum of 50 amps - 110/125 Volt AC, 60 HZ (via electrical inlet or generator). 50 amp Electric is needed to run the following items: Air Conditioner, Microwave, Interior wall outlets and to charge the 12 Volt house battery, as needed. Any Portable Generator that puts out at least 50 amps of power is equipped to run the power for the travel trailer. If your generator will only put out 20 amps of power, you can still use it to run the refrigerator, lights or recharge the house battery as needed but it will not run the Air Conditioner or electrical outlets. AT NO Time Should THE Travel Trailer BE Plugged IN TO ANY Outlet (Shore Power OR Generator) Without THE Supplied Surge Protector.
