This beautifully converted Ram ProMaster is freshly customized and ready for your next big adventure! Whether you are planning on bumming around the local SoCal beaches or cruising out to Joshua Tree (or even Yosemite or Zion!) - this camper van is up for the task. Built on the 136” wheelbase, the van is equipped with all of the essentials for boondocking or connecting to the hook-up at your favorite campsite. Here are the specs:**New hitch-mounted bike rack installed / holds 3!!Power:
The 320 watts of solar power combined with a 160AH Lithium-Iron Battery ensure that your interior lighting, charging, fridge, and potty are powered up. The induction cooktop and heater can be used without a hook-up, but should be limited to conserve power (these are powered by the 3000 watt Renogy inverter).Kitchen:
Featuring top of the line cooktop and fridge from Dometic, the kitchen is more than sufficient to handle meals while on the road. A gas stove is also included for use when boondocking or dry camping. The drop-sink is also pretty and practical, and is connected to a 13 gallon fresh water tank.Bathroom:
An easy to use cassette toilet is installed and comes in handy while on the road....less stops means getting to your destination that much faster! The cassette is simple to dump in any toilet or RV dump station.Seating:
We built this with our growing family in mind...the van is small and easy to handle, but large enough for our family of 6 to travel and sleep in! A factory seat is installed with 4 shoulder seatbelts in the back of the van, so it can safely transport up to 6 passengers (including up to 4 car seats).Sleeping:
With some creativity, families with smaller kiddos can sleep up to 6 people inside the van. For sleeping arrangements, we typically have the three older sisters up in the bunk space, with my wife and the two year old in the bottom bed (and I’m on the floor of course - but two sleeping pads and a blow-up camping pad is just as comfortable as my bed at home / p.s., you can rent similar ones in the add-on section). For non-kiddo configurations, the top bunk can potentially handle up to two adults, as can the bottom bed (but it is a snug fit!). The bench seat can also be used as a bed as well. Our recommendation for the most comfortable 'adult only' arrangement would be one or two people in the bunk, one person in the bottom bed, and one person on the bench seat. The dimensions of the top bunk bed are 5'6" x 5'8", and the bottom bed is 3'10" x 5'11".Storage:
We sometimes use the bottom bed for extra storage while traveling to our destination, but usually we can fit everything into the space underneath the bottom bed (accesses thru the back doors), and in the Yakima rooftop storage container. There is also lots of room for bags & smaller items underneath the bench seat.Ventilation:
The van is equipped with the newest model MaxxFan, and all four side windows have cranks and can be opened / closed to suit your needs. We typically run the fan as exhaust and open all four windows to force fresh air into the van (if we are not parked in a spot with a breeze).Extras:
Here are some extras that will be included to ensure that you have a successful adventure:
Camp Axe
First Aid Kit
Cooking Pots/Pans & Splatter Guard
Disposable Utensils / Plates / Paper Towels
Fresh Linen / Pillows / Blankets
Cleaning SuppliesThere are a number of add-ons which can be selected from the list below, including surfboards, kayaks, additional power (goal zero yeti), and more.We look forward to meeting you and hearing about your great experiences in the van! Definitely reach out with any questions :)**Alternate pick-up & drop-off locations outside of San Diego available / ask us about one-way rentals!
