1.0Horrible communication and shady owner. 2 days prior to departure she insisted I sign a separate contract through her personal email bypassing the use of Outdoorsy. That contract was ridiculous, pretty much if you sneezed in the van you had to buy it. I refused to sign and she said we could not have it, I then insisted we call Outdoorsy together and she quickly changed her mind and gave us the van. She would not budge on a pick up time. It was dirty when we picked it up. Along the way I had to stop and do the maintenance by putting diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) in the engine and add air to the tires. In regards to the accommodations the van drove fine, just make sure to call her out on all the pre-check maintenance that she is required to do before you leave her house. Also had to pick up the van at a different location than is registered on Outdoorsy. She had plenty of time to let us know if an additional agreement contract was necessary, it was as if she waited to the last minute to force you to sign it based on schedule. That should be disclosed on the ad. She was not pleasant to do business with. Do a thorough review of any damages on it prior to departure, take pics!

5.0We had an awesome experience renting Carrie’s Sprinter van for our 4-day trip through Olympic National Park. She was incredibly kind, responsive, and flexible, and you can tell she genuinely cares about making sure people have a great trip. The van itself was an awesome experience for the two of us. It was easy to drive on those narrow, winding scenic roads and fit into campsites without stress, and was still surprisingly spacious and comfortable inside. We got compliments on it everywhere we went, other campers constantly asked about it and wanted to check it out. It made the whole trip even more enjoyable and made me want to get my own. Would absolutely rent again!

Frequently asked questions
Q.
How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Very easy. The electric plugs in, the water gets attached to the supply and IF you are not planning on moving the van then you would hook up to the sewer with one hose for both black and grey. If you will be leaving during the day I would suggest hooking up the sewer when one of the tanks is reaching full.
