This trusty adventure rig is a well-loved 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD off-road coupled with a brand new Thule Tepui Kukenam roof top tent. Equipped with an on-the-go kitchen system, cozy bedding with full size pillows, and just-in-case safety gear so you can adventure comfortably knowing you're covered with all the essentials.

Thoughtfully curated to get you exploring around the PNW, this truck has everything you need for worry free parking at Columbia River Gorge trailheads, access passes to the many National Parks near-by, a private campground at the base of Mt St. Helen, and I can even help you set up specific reservations in the area, let's chat about what you are hoping to do and make this the best over landing experience possible.

Recommendations

This area is PERFECT for outdoor exploration! Within a day's drive there are so many beautiful scenic landscapes, head north to Rainier or the North Cascades, south to the big Red Woods, East towards the back roads of Idaho, or West to the breath taking coastline. Maybe you only have a few days to escape, there is plenty to explore in the National Monument at Mount St. Helens, the National Forests at Mount Adams and Mount Hood, and of course the endless scenic trails of the Columbia River Gorge. Public lands are an american birthright and a global attraction. Conservation, preservation and advocacy work best when we have personal experiences with these spaces. Let's plan together, maps and itineraries available upon request as well as meal ideas.

Other things to note

Bring your best fur friend along but please keep them out of the Roof Top Tent. They can sleep in the cab of the truck or we can provide a dog bed for the truck bed.

Meet your host, Sarah

Member since 2021

Hi there. My name is Sarah and I love to be outside. I've always had a grand sense of adventure, be it backpacking with my dog, climbing multi pitch rock and ice routes, sky diving, or road tripping, I'm forever searching for another spectacular view or the peaceful silence of the forest. My career as an electrical worker sent me cross country full time in 2020 and ever since I have been accidentally working my way towards putting together an overland truck worthy of dirt roads and remote campsites. In the process of finding myself in the woods I learned all about public lands, good stewardship of those spaces, and how valuable those spaces truly are, not only for people but more importantly for the wildlife whose natural environments are diminishing. Sharing a love for the outdoors with everyone is the greatest way to protect outdoor spaces, so if you would like to know some of my favorite places don't hesitate to ask.
