Corral RV Park

Those who enjoy learning about local history should consider spending some time at the Tomball Museum Complex. The arrangement of historic buildings showcases the beginnings of settlement in the area in the 1800s. You can visit the Griffin House to see period domesticity, the Chapel that has been transported from a nearby town, a one-room schoolhouse, and several other buildings. You don’t need to travel all the way into downtown Houston to enjoy unique art museums. The Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts, conveniently located nearby the RV park, houses a variety of temporary exhibits with ever-changing galleries. The museum has a gallery dedicated solely to local Houston artists, displaying the creativity of the local community. The museum also hosts a variety of events and workshops where you can broaden your artistic skills. Those traveling with children may want to consider an outing to The Woodlands Children’s Museum. Let the kids play in the indoor playhouses, the miniature grocery store, and the interactive firehouse. Everyone can enjoy the hands-on water tables or the engineering rooms where kids can build foam castles, houses, and even cities. With so much opportunity for hands-on creativity, the kids are sure to play the day away. Given the proximity to Tomball, Texas, one of Houston’s premiere satellite cities, you will come across plenty of options for gas stations and grocery stores while camping at Corral RV Park. This prime location will give you everything you need to keep your journey going smoothly. One of Texas’s cuisine claims to fame is barbecue, and you will find a seemingly endless amount of smokehouses throughout Space City. Sample some authentic Texas barbecue, slow-smoked for hours and seasoned with a dry rub. And in The Lone Star State, beef is king, so order yourself a slab of brisket or a chopped brisket sandwich and indulge in a true taste of Texas.
