Discover Port Lavaca RV rentals for memorable road trips

Serving as the seat of Calhoun County, Port Lavaca is a lively coastal city on the outskirts of Victoria. It was founded following the Great Comanche Raid of 1840 that destroyed the former settlement of Linnville, with Lavaca being established in its wake. Subsequent hurricanes all impacted the fortunes of the region, with Lavaca eventually taking over from Indianola as the county seat following the latter’s obliteration in 1886.
