Reagan, Texas, is a small town located in Falls County, Texas. The town was named for William Reason Reagan, a lawyer who settled in the present location. He donated some of his land to creating the city, and it was therefore named after him. The town was located on a section of the Waco and Northwestern Railroad. In the 20th century, Reagan transitioned from a railroad stop to an agricultural town.

The site housed about 4,800 German prisoners of war during WWII. The museum explains how and why prisoners were brought from the site of the fighting all the way to central Texas. There are also exhibits featuring artwork and stories of the different prisoners. History buffs who rent an RV in Reagan should expect to spend about an hour here learning the history.
