With Clearfield’s close proximity to the Great Salt Lake and Wasatch Mountains; you’ll have easy access to mountain terrain. The Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest spans an impressive 2.5 million acres across a greater portion of northern Utah with smaller sections in Idaho and Wyoming.

Speaking of Antelope Island Park, stay within its boundaries overnight at one of several primitive sites. At least two days advanced reservation notice is requested. While the sites do not offer electricity or water, they do provide stunning views of the area. Water and bathroom facilities are located 1-2 miles from each site at the Bridger Bay Beach Visitor’s Center. Be sure to check their allowance list of what is acceptable at the sites. It is a conservation area after all; let's help keep it clean!
Exploring the City
When you visit Clearfield your RV rental, you may, to some extent, be on Hill Air Force Base. The Hill Aerospace Museum is set on the northwest corner of the base. This museum offers you the opportunity to view at least 100 aircraft used by the Air Force over the years, along with thousands of other artifacts representing the aviation history of the United States Air Force, Hill Air Force Base, and Utah. We had such a fantastic experience with VanDAO and Matthew! We took the van through Arches, Grand Teton, Yellowstone, and plenty of stops along the way. It was so easy to drive, had everything we needed (and things we didn’t even think to ask about!), and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We literally just needed to bring cmthe clothing we needed for the trip. Matthew was a great host and made everything seamless. We’d absolutely rent VanDAO again!
