The Great Outdoors

Restrooms with flush toilets are on-site, as well as coin-operated showers and an RV dump station. Five cabins and a cottage are available for rent within the park. The cottage has a private boat dock and further amenities. A boat launch on the east side of the pond offers easy access to the water.

Between the campground and Rutland is the Hubbardton Battlefield State Historic Site, which marks the location of the only Revolutionary War battle fought entirely in Vermont. Rutland is also home to the historic Lincoln family estate as well as Wilson Castle. Those who enjoy museums may also want to hit the road to visit the Chaffee Art Center in Rutland, the Montshire Museum of Science in Norwich, and the American Precision Museum in Windsor.
