Explore Around Arlington

With your Arlington camper rental, you can drive down to Wallace Falls State Park . Wallace Falls rests about an hour southeast and is home to forests, lakes, waterfalls, and trails that encompass all of this surrounding landscape. Few places showcase such majesty. It’s truly a hiker’s paradise here, with 12 miles of foot trails that are open in all seasons. Follow Wallace River to Wallace Falls, where three captivating tiers of water rush over rock and aging timber. The trail along the falls allows for lower, mid, and upper viewpoints of the powerful waterfall. Other falls can be found at the park… you just may have to take more than a day to experience it all. Camping with your Arlington RV rental will have to occur outside of the park, but there are plenty of parks and resorts to choose from with gas and amenities close by. Wallace Falls is a perfect getaway, but when you want something a little different, you can find more even farther south at Tiger Mountain State Forest. Tiger Mountain State Forest is also a conservation area, spanning over a whopping 13,700 acres. You’ll find trails here for hiking, walking, horseback riding, and bicycling. The Department of Natural Resources still utilizes the forest to provide sustainable revenue, making Tiger Mountain one of the most well known DNR forests. Unfortunately, you can’t camp here with your RV either, however, the choice of campgrounds, RV parks, or RV resorts abound. It’s a good thing, too, as you will likely want to spend a couple of days exploring what Tiger Mountain has to offer.

The Best of Both

While you’re staying with your Arlington RV rental this far south, be sure to stop by Seattle, WA for some added zest to your travels. As Washington’s largest city, Seattle boasts acres of parkland, beautiful evergreen forests, rocky mountains, and vast bodies of water. It’s breathtaking. If the scenery doesn’t have you floored enough, Seattle also astounds with its tech industry and lively metropolitan area. Just outside all the hustle and bustle, you will find plenty of places to park your rental. That’s the beauty of having an Arlington motorhome rental - you get the best of both worlds. Seamlessly transitioning between the two is easy when you get to vacation the way you want to. Stay immersed or on the outskirts; the choice is yours!

Closer to Town

When you want to stay a little closer to town, Kayak Point is a pleasant place to get comfortable. Kayak Point is part of Stanwood, WA , and offers areas to picnic, fish, boat, and camp. Go on - enjoy yourself! There’s so much to do along the shores of Port Susan. Kayak Point provides rich settings for any recreational activity of choice, though, you’re sure to see plenty here that are fishing, crabbing, windsurfing, and even SCUBA diving! Water life is rather popular, and we’re not just talking about what’s in it. However, for those who favor fishing, you’ll be happy to get a taste of Kayak Point. You’ll find flounder, rockfish, true cod, walleye pollock, sole, and migrating sea perch. The surrounding lakes are also another pleasant getaway, as you’ll discover a host of other adventures around their shores. That’s the beauty of the experience and vacationing this way; you don’t have to rush. The best RV rental in Arlington means the best travel experience in Arlington. Go where you want - stay where you want. Staying at Kayak Point will provide the privacy you can’t usually get at most campgrounds. The 30 large, wooded campsites offer hookups for electric and are nearby water. Camping enthusiasts will certainly find it easy to pick this as a spot to stay! Back to where your rental began, returning your Arlington RV rental by owner wouldn’t be right without taking the time to really enjoy the city where it all started. This town takes pride in upholding a true “hometown feel”. Throughout the year, celebrations are hosted and held to share, showcase, and boast this small town’s pride. You may even catch such events during your stay! Arlington, WA is truly a place for recreation. Parks play a huge role in what the town is all about, as a healthy, happy community is something that radiates much farther out. It’s a place with humble beginnings, and it’s from these beginnings that so much more splendor awakens. You’ll never travel the same. Start your search to find your perfect way to stay!

Overall, we had a great experience with this camper van! It fit the 5 of us comfortably on the drive out to the Gorge but only 3 of us stayed in the van. The popup tent on the roof was easy to setup although one of the zippers for the side panel didn't work so we weren't able to unzip that side. Also, some of the poles were missing to extend the awning. Luckily it wasn't too hot so it we didn't really need it unzipped or the awning extended. We did run into some crazy wind and rain during our stay. The popup stayed intact and. The sink and TV came in handy when it was raining and we didn't want to go outside. If I had any questions, I'd message Jim and he was super responsive and replied right away. I would definitely rent this van from him again!

Our group had a great experience with Keith. Easy to communicate with, simple pickup/drop-off, thorough introduction to the vehicle, and overall a great base for our trip (especially because of the freak rainstorm that rolled in halfway through!). Highly recommend!
