The RV did function very well without any problems. The host Lei and Carol were so nice and helpful. It was our first time to travel in RV so the host answered many questions patiently.

We loved every day of our Canadian adventure with Arvie. Bags of character and space, comfortably sleeping our family of five. Communication in advance was spot on, the walkthrough on pick up was detailed and all queries (of which there were few) were answered promptly while we were on the road. So grateful that this amazing home on wheels has been shared to give others the opportunity to enjoy it! Little extra touches like board games, outdoor seating/mats and the mini NES were lovely. Would absolutely recommend renting - so much more personal and fun than a standard one. Thank you - we miss Arvie already!

I explored the vast Olympic Peninsula in the trusty Mercedes Winnebago Revel that I rented from Ricardo in Port Townsend. The vehicle had been well maintained and was easy to maneuver, even for a petite 70-year-old female like me. I especially loved the digital rearview mirror that provided a clear, unobstructed view of the road and vehicles behind me. The portable induction stovetop saved a lot of time (heats up and cools down quickly) and stowed conveniently in an under-the-counter cubby. There were plenty of bins in which to securely store dry goods while on the road. I do wish there had been a drawer or two for clothing and personal items. However, under the bed (which electronically rises all the way to the ceiling, if wanted), there was space to store luggage and other large travel items. Once I arrived at each of my destinations, getting parked and settled in was a piece of cake. The lighted awning, window screens, and side and back door screens allowed in the sweet pine-scented breeze that most campers can’t get enough of. Restroom facilities at the campgrounds where I stayed were clean and convenient, so the cassette toilet was rarely used. The indoor shower seemed pretty cramped, so I opted for the outdoor hook-up, which meant a hot shower every time. Speaking of which, the water heater powered up very quickly for indoor and outdoor water use. The control panel for water pump, water heater, tank levels, battery use, and inverter was easy to navigate. Fortunately, for those times when pushing a button didn’t produce the result I wanted, I could (and did) consult the printed troubleshooting guide that Ricardo had included in the renter’s info binder. The first time I had to empty the gray water tank was less intimidating because I paired my handwritten notes scribbled during Ricardo’s van orientation with the printed matter. The one time I was stumped, I elected to text and then call Ricardo (thank goodness for a signal out in the boondocks), and he patiently walked me through resolution of the issue. He was a very gracious, generous (best home-baked blueberry muffins on the planet), thoughtful, and conscientious host. I will most definitely rent from him if I have the good fortune to be up in Port Townsend again.
