2006 Jayco Greyhawk
Ready to go on your next adventure? The Hawk is a roomy 2007 30' Jayco Greyhawk with two slideouts. It can sleep 8 people: two on the slide out queen bed in the master bedroom at the back, two on the extra-long queen bed above the cab, two on the fold out couch, and two on the convertible dining room table. When the vehicle is in motion, there are four seatbelts at the dining room table, three on the couch, and two in the cab. There are enough windows to see all the views on the way to your destination.
We recommend that you stay in RV parks/campgrounds with hookups because Dry camping or also called Boondocking requires a whole new level of skill and much more to manage vs just plugging in. Spending a night or two without hookups is fine, but you’ll appreciate everything that the RV parks have to offer. Boondocking requires you to run the generator to charge your phones, be able to watch a TV show, make coffee in electric coffee pot, use the microwave, and recharge the RV lights, etc. Running the generator for any length of time comes with a price as it is supplied from the RV’s gas tank and requires at least ¼ tank of fuel in order to run it. If you park at RV parks, you may have hook ups, which could mean nothing more than a power cord that will allow you to use all the amenities! We have included the kitchenware, sheets, pillows, comforters, unless you prefer to bring your own. Deposit will be forfeited if you take it off road, abuse or smoke in it. If this is your 1st time with an RV, you will want to have necessary training on how to manage it so you can enjoy your adventure. We provide extensive walk around training and test driving so you feel comfortable.
What's included:
Sewer and dump equipment
Fresh water hose
Kitchenware for 8 available upon request
Linens for 4 beds available upon request.

My wife, Barb and I love the great outdoors! Fishing, hunting, boating are just a few of our hobbies. Being a native of Colorado, we've taken advantage of what this state has to offer. We take our two little Dachshunds with us everywhere and they so enjoy our adventures. Our kids, mine and hers, are spread out some, but love traveling in our RV to make visits when we can. And, I always like to say, there's nothing better than getting up in the morning with a fresh cup of camp coffee, sitting by a lake or looking at the scenic views of the mountains!

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
We provide an extensive walk around training so that you can learn all the tricks to enjoying the RV. If you aren't familiar with camping in an RV, we will make sure you feel comfortable with driving, setting up, packing up, etc.
Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We will work with you on timing with picking up and dropping off.
Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
We will show you where to access the electric cord and how to plug in; how to add water (if necessary. we will fill water at delivery), and how to use the sewer hookups and dumping (unless you choose for us to do, with charge).
Q.When would I need to use the generator?
A.
The onboard generator is only to be used if you are dry camping (camping without electrical hookups). The generator base time is at 4 hours and extra charge/hour after that. The generator's fuel comes from the RV's main fuel tank, so it's recommended to utilize generator time minimally. The generator will not run if the fuel tank is at 1/4 tank or lower. It's best to use generator time for recharging lights on RV unit, cell phones, watching TV, using microwave, electrical appliances, etc.
