Sitting at an elevation of 3200 feet near the peak of Round Knob in Greene County lies the Round Knob Picnic Area. The historic picnic area is tucked away in an oak grove and consists of more than a dozen wooden picnic tables as well as five stone fireplace ovens. There are boat ramps at both Knob Lake and Spurgeon Hollow Lake. Keep in mind that boats are limited to electric trolling motors only.
