Walking across the Big Four Bridge is one of the coolest things one can do in Louisville. Dating back to 1895, the former railroad truss bridge is a six span bridge spanning 2,525 feet across the Ohio River. A two-mile-long round trip across the bridge to Jeffersonville offers stunning views of downtown Louisville as well as the river below.

The Louisville Zoo is worth checking out if the kids tagged along. The zoo is home to a vast array of species, including gorillas, tigers, and even elephants. After checking out the animals, ride a carousel with the kids to unwind before hopping back to your rental RV.
