Let's start with a few questions to narrow down your options.

Kincaid Lake State Park is a park near Falmouth, KY in Pendleton County. The park was first developed in 1958 to serve the needs of Northern Kentucky. The state built a dam in 1961 to impound Kincaid Creek. Damming the creek created Kincaid Lake, which gives the park its name.
Pendleton County is an interesting spot for RV campers to choose because it’s located in the Greater Cincinnati Tri-State Area. The area includes locations in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Travelers can easily access these three states from Kincaid Lake State Park. Cincinnati, OH is a little less than an hour from the park and Indianapolis, IN is a little over two hours away making them great locations for a day trip. The Indiana border, however, is only about an hour away.
Since Kentucky is in the Upper South and Pendleton County is in the northern part of the state, the county sent soldiers to both locations during the Civil War. That makes the area an interesting choice for Civil War buffs who choose to rent an RV in Northern Kentucky.
