Let's start with a few questions to narrow down your options.
Goat Rock Lake is a reservoir in Lee County, Alabama, and Harris County, Georgia. The reservoir dams a section of the Chattahoochee River near Bartlett’s Ferry Dam. Goat Rock Dam and Generating Plant were built in 1912 to create hydroelectric power for Georgia. When construction workers were building the dam, they reported seeing goats jumping onto the rocks in the river, hence the name. The lake has access to both the Georgia side and the Alabama side.
