Born from our own restless wanderlust and countless nights under Montana's big-sky stars, this rig is everything we ever wished for on the trail — and now it's finally ready to be shared with fellow adventurers. No expense was spared, no detail overlooked. Whether you're chasing alpine lakes, hot springs, ghost towns, or just that perfect dispersed campsite at the end of a forgotten forest road, this setup was built to take you there in comfort and style.───────────────────────────────────────» Sleep High, Sleep Easy
At the heart of the build is the iconic iKamper Skycamp 2.0 — a king-sized rooftop tent that comfortably sleeps a family of four and pops up in under a minute. No more wrestling with poles in the dark, no more soggy ground pads. Just climb the ladder, stretch out on a real mattress, and fall asleep to the sound of the wind in the pines.Add the iKamper Annex Awning (optional add-on) and you've got an instant shaded basecamp — perfect for rainy afternoons, midday lunches, or a second sleeping area for the kids.───────────────────────────────────────» Camp Kitchen, Fully Dialed
We're food people, and it shows. You'll roll out fully outfitted to cook like you're at home — anywhere:▸ Full GSI Outdoors cookware set (pots, pans, plates, mugs, the works)
▸ Lodge cast iron grill — for those legendary campfire steaks
▸ Camp Chef Teton 2X two-burner stove — restaurant-grade BTUs

▸ Starlink internet (add-on, NEW for 2024) — stream, work remote, video-call the kids, or upload trip pics from the middle of nowhere→ Reach out for our full inventory: headlamps, chairs, recovery gear, fire tools, water jugs and more. It's a long list, and it's all included.───────────────────────────────────────» Built to Get You There — and Back
Behind the wheel sits the formidable Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium with Kdss (Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System) — the rig you actually want when the pavement runs out.Kdss gives you genuine on-road comfort blended seamlessly with serious off-road capability. The body-on-frame construction, locking rear diff, crawl control, and Toyota's legendary reliability mean this isn't just a pretty SUV — it's a true backcountry machine. Forest service roads, alpine passes, washboard gravel, river crossings, dispersed sites tucked deep in the trees — it handles all of it without breaking a sweat. And because it's a Toyota, it'll get you home. Every time. ✓───────────────────────────────────────» Local Intel, Included

Easy to drive, good on gas
The 4Runner is easy and comfortable to drive, performs well on gas, and is spacious. Its iKamper tent is simple to set up/take down, comfortable, and comes fully equipped with all camping needs.

5.0What an amazing trip! Graham and Francie know what’s up! They had us totally prepared and organized for a week long trip. The tent was incredible, super easy to set up and take down. The runner ran like a dream and was comfortable and safe, plus it looks so good! We are planning our next trip already. Thank you! What a dream vacation.

5.0I rented this 4Runner for a 9-day trip and it worked out perfectly. Graham and Francine were very helpful and quick to communicate. The car was spacious, easy to drive, and came stocked with everything I needed for camping, including bear spray! The tent was comfortable for two people, but you could easily fit more, and was simple to set up and take down each day. Everything made the trip so smooth and enjoyable, I’d happily rent this setup again!

5.0It was an amazing experience renting the 4runner for our 4 day long family overlanding trip. Graham and Francine had equipped the rig thoughtfully for all our camping needs. The rooftop tent had plenty space for our family. Graham was very prompt in communication. Pickup and return process was as smooth as it could be. All equipments were functional and I'd highly recommend the truck.

Frequently asked questions
Q.
How to open the iKamper
A.
Before renting – download these videos – you can’t count on cellular service in Montana or Wyoming! Set up: 1 min video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6mpy9znXX48 There are 6 long metal poles with hooks on end – the two longest hook into the front opening. The other 4 hold the rain fly up over the side windows.
Q.
How to close the iKamper
A.
Take down: 1 min 30 secs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gw6pOXHCZkk Make sure both mattresses are flush with the back (hinge side) and left side of the iKamper Don’t store anything else in the iKamper when closing Remove all 6 hook poles from window and front openings. Zip up side windows with exception of plastic cover – this allows air to escape Zip up front window ¾ of the way As you pull down straps to close you may need to tuck in excess fabric on sides before locking in.
Q.
What is Toyota KDSS ?
A.
This Toyota 4Runner is equipped with the optional KDSS (Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System). KDSS acts like a sway bar that provides a much better driving experience during normal driving conditions when traveling above 12 mph. We have added the ability to turn off KDSS when traveling above 12 mph (eg - driving down a dirt road). The switch is located to the left of the steering wheeling, next to the windshield wiper defroster. The allows a smoother ride when not on a paved road.
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
You can pick up the camper at our place for free. Alternatively we can pick you up at arrivals and/or meet you at the airport for drop off. There is a fee for this service reflecting the time for us both to drive to/from airport and effect of blocking off both our calendars .
