The lake is over 10,000 year old and located midway between Santa Cruz and Monterey. The facilities for RV camping and boating are excellent. The back-in sites are 50?x15? and on grass. Each site is supplied with 30 amp electricity, city water, sewer, a locked gate at night, and fire rings. The park is carefully maintained on beautiful surroundings. Campers may make arrangements to include two dogs in their agreement. The management staff on duty are always friendly and helpful for their visitors. The park is locked up at night for safety, so visitors are given a key for admission should they go out of the facilities at night. The campers are often returning people who were pleased with their last visit. The fishing in the lake is catch and release but most enjoyable with reports of large bass on angler?s lines.

Unfortunately there is no dump station or sewer hookups, but a dump truck comes around on Mondays and a honey wagon comes around twice a week.
