Recreation the Right Way
Usually, those who like to travel enjoy taking in the outdoors as much as they can. You can’t have RV without recreation - and, boy, does Hesperia and its neighbors have it! This is what your Hesperia camper rental was made for!Drive less than 50 miles north to start your California cruising off with a lovely day spent at Saddleback Butte State Park of nearbyLancaster, CA. The name may not roll off the tongue, but the state park is named after the mountaintop that towers above Antelope Valley. It is home to native Joshua Trees, as well as other flora and fauna common in the high desert. You can easily spend the day hiking, biking, horseback riding, and so much more! Often, visitors will arrive in the spring, when the wildflowers display their full blossoms and vibrant colors. The fall season is another well-liked time to enjoy the Butte as well, though temperatures can be a little less predictable. No matter when you visit, you won’t want to leave! Luckily, Saddleback Butte has you covered there, too.Campground sites here are first-come, first-serve. They have a few quaint amenities, such as a fire ring, barbeque grill, and a ramada. You’ll also have access to potable water, full-service restrooms with flush toilets (though, no showers), and an RV dump station. There is no talk of hookups, but sites here are at least set up nicely for easily backing in.When you feel you’ve truly experienced the Butte and all its splendor, take your Hesperia RV rental south to something a bit bigger - Mount San Antonio. Mount San Antonio is known as the “crown jewel” of the San Gabriel Mountains, as it is one of the highest in the range and can be seen by much of Southern California. Many come this way for skiing in the cooler months, however, year-round, four popular hiking routes reach the summit. The trek is something you want to consider only if you are ready to take on a moderately difficult--and long--round trip. You will gain a considerable amount of elevation during the hikes, so, come prepared with adequate food and water to keep your body well-nourished. As you fall in love with the landscape here, too, you will find that you may not want to leave. When you’re prepared with your RV though, you don’t have to leave! Park in any neighboring RV park or resort. You can even head deeper into theAngeles National Forestto stay at any of the available campground sites. Sites here do not have hookups, so come prepared to keep your stay comfortable. It’s good to note that with surrounding towns and cities so close by, you won’t be long without any necessities. If the mountains leave you in awe, yet still wanting more, drive your RV rental near Hesperia to Big Bear Lake. The lake sits about an hour southeast of Hesperia and is accompanied by a quaint town that sits right along its edges. Come here to fish at the lake, visit the Bear Mountain ski resort, or shop in any of the unique gift shops and boutiques that line the streets of Big Bear Lake Village. Just outside the city, you’ll enjoy mountain trails and scenic views. California is always something to look at.You won’t have any trouble finding a place to park your rental out here. There is a whole host of campgrounds, parks, and resorts to choose from. However, they fill up fast, depending on the season! Even if you can’t stay right along the lake’s banks, you can always stay just beyond. That’s another perk out here… CA is RV ready! When you want to travel even farther out, be sure you take the rental to other hot spots in this part of California, such as the belovedJoshua Tree National Park. If fame strikes you, don’t miss out on the Hollywood Hills that will meet you just before hitting the coast inLos Angeles. There’s something for everyone and you’re sure to find it here!

On the southeastern edges of the city, take the day out on the manmade lake of Hesperia Lake Park. The town hosts an array of activities here, including the annual Hesperia Day activities.Camping and fishing are permitted here as well. It gets a bit busy at times, so if you want more seclusion, try neighboring Spring Valley Lake and Mojave Narrows National Park ofVictorville. It’s only about 10 minutes away, so it’s a rather easy detour in plans. Finally, when your Hesperia RV rental by owner returns, you can take a deep breath of the surrounding California air and let out a sigh of pure relief - relief in knowing you vacationed the right way. How could you ever go back? Such freedom is intoxicating. Hesperia welcomes you to join any time throughout the year - you’re always welcome!
We had an awesome 5-night trip in Danny's van/RV. The van was very comfortable and well-equipped -- A/C worked great on our trip through the desert. It was well supplied with linens, kitchen equipment , microwave, and frig. The van was very comfortable to drive, and the various tanks and systems were easy to use. Danny was very responsive with communication, answering all our questions before and during the trip. He was flexible about pickup and dropoff to accommodate our travel schedule. Can't say enough about the van and Danny --- we hope to rent again in the future. Thanks for a great trip!
amazing experience with Fernando the owner of this RV. TLDR version. a few days before our scheduled trip the first RV we rented (not Fernando) called me to tell me he had to cancel our RV reservation. my family and myself were devastated. But Fernando swiped in to Dave the day and my families trip. On short notice Fernando arranged to replace the RV we lost and drove the RV directly to my house. TY from the bottom of my heart. amazing experience. First rate communication from Fernando. We are already thinking of booking this RV again. highly recommend.
Had a great trip to eastern Sierra. Trailer accomodated 3 nights off grid camping. I was able to power everything we needed with my small solar setup, so no generator noise. Compact size and light weight was a benefit on tigh steep roads of sequoia and Inyo.
