The Great Outdoors
The community of Lower Lake forms the southern border of Clear Lake, the largest natural freshwater lake wholly within the state of California and the oldest lake in North America. Affectionately known as the “Bass Capital of the West”, the lake boasts large populations of bass as well as crappie, bluegill, carp, and catfish. Exploring the City
Once you pick up your RV rental in Lower Lake, visit the Anderson Marsh State Historical Park right in town and walk through one of the region’s best parks with plenty of history. One of the largest groups of Californian indigenous peoples in Pre-Columbian America, the Southeastern Pomo Native Americans once lived in the park. Many of their descendants still do live here or in the area, and you can soak up the history with guided tours of the scenic park.

The trailer was clean and well stocked. The kitchen utensils and pot and pans were well stocked and good quality which I appreciated. The sheets and pillows were clean and comfortable. Overall, it was a great trip, the owners were easy to work with and communicate with.
