The community of Lower Lake forms the southern border of Clear Lake, the largest natural freshwater lake wholly within the state of California and the oldest lake in North America. Affectionately known as the “Bass Capital of the West”, the lake boasts large populations of bass as well as crappie, bluegill, carp, and catfish. Exploring the City

One of the largest groups of Californian indigenous peoples in Pre-Columbian America, the Southeastern Pomo Native Americans once lived in the park. My husband & I, along with our dog had a great time at Lawson's Landing staying in the Keystone Hideout. It is a clean, comfortable, well provisioned RV trailer.
