The north shore of the lake has over 140 campsites located in the midst of oak and gray pine woodlands in the Millerton Lake State Recreation Area. Each site is equipped with a picnic table, fire ring, and access to drinking water. The kids will enjoy exploring the recreational trails around the campground. Pets are welcome, though it’s appreciated to keep them on a leash at all times.
