Tortuga (as my kids call it) is a brand new 2020 Black Series Patron Trailer.If you are looking for a camping experience that will allow you to go a bit off grid, this rig is for you. Our favorite is to tow it behind our Jeep until we find the ultimate camping spot.Mohave Road is a FANTASTIC 4 day trip this trailer would be perfect for within driving distance if you are looking to check a top 5 national overlanding trip off the bucket list.In the summer, we love hitting the mountains. Payson, Alpine, Flagstaff, Prescott, Crown King. If you like to be remote, this will get you there. But if you like campgrounds, it has the water hookups you need, as well.Other things to noteYou can bring your pets. Just know that you are responsible if they cause any damage or have any accidents.This is our trailer that our family uses on a regular basis. It is a blast and will give you experiences most other trailers can't provide. Have fun with it, but please return it in the condition you found it. The fact you can take it to off road locations "can" get you into trouble and cause damage if you are not careful. Just know that you take full financial responsibility anywhere you take it.

The trailer is perfect for a family of four that is looking to get away into the wilderness. Chris did a great job explaining everything about the trailer and is easily reachable if you need him. The trailer is designed for off-roading and as such has a heavy duty suspension that makes the overall weight of the trailer heavy. I towed it with a 4Runner and with all our camping gear in the car and the trailer the 4Runner had difficult time handling some of the mountain passes in Colorado. If you're interested in renting this trailer (you should be as it's well appointed and comfy) make sure your vehicle has a V8 or a towing capacity greater than my V6 4Runner. Other than it being a tad heavy (stout) it's a perfect trailer to escape out into the wilderness!
