Discover Frisco RV rentals for memorable road trips

Often referred to as the “Main Street of the Rockies”, Frisco is a stunning alpine paradise high up in the mountains west of Denver, Colorado. This charming locality was once a booming mining town in the late 19th century but later remade itself into an elegant recreation destination nearly two miles up in the fabulous Rocky Mountains that bisect the state of Colorado.

Explore the Outdoors

When you book an RV rental in Frisco, there are too many beautiful forests, lakes, mountains, and parks to possibly see in one or even 20 trips to the area. It is no exaggeration to say that the wildflower-covered subalpine meadows and the glaciated peaks of the Rockies are natural works of art. The town of Frisco is situated on beautiful Dillon Reservoir which in and of itself is a famous natural feature you can enjoy while staying here. Places like Heaton Bay Campground and Peak One Campground are just outside of town and scenic places to camp with your Dillon RV rental by owner. Miles of scenic bicycle and walking trails circle the reservoir, especially at the Frisco Peninsula Recreation Area where guests can sit on the sandy beaches and observe the sailboats floating by.

RV Parks to Visit

As mentioned before, there are several places to camp within minutes of Frisco. Peak One Campground, Pine Cove Campground, and Heaton Bay Campground are places to stay along the lake, where fishing is a delight, and cooling off is easy after a dip in the water.

City Sightseeing

Frisco might be a mountain ski town first and foremost, but there are several attractions that await. The assortment of mountain peaks within a 20-minute drive of Frisco is absolutely unbelievable, and all offer tantalizing skiing and snowboarding opportunities through feet of fresh snowy powder. Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin are a few, though there are too many to name them all.

Jeff was a great host. Is friendly and knew his trailer well. The things that didn’t work during our trip I was able to communicate to him about and he made it right on the back end.

This was first time out camping since we sold our camper trailer. Chad's camper van was exactly what we needed. Spacious enough for us to spread out and relax, but cozy enough to stay warm in the snow as well as mobile enough to pack up quickly and get on the road (double track really, otherwise know as off pavement). This van really is tricked out with everything you need to be off grid for a WHILE. This van is perfect for posting up (multiple nights) at your favorite fishing, skiing and outdoor access points. Bed was super comfy, heater was more than warm enough, power was more than we'd ever need, the fridge was huge even for a family of four on a long trip.
