Visitors can easily launch watercraft from the lake’s dirt boat ramp and jet ski ramp.
Camping at Lake Meredith
When you’re ready to unwind after a day of exploring, you’ll find that Lake Meredith features primitive camping at facilities located at the north edge of the lake off of County Lane 21. The campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The campground does include vault toilets and campfires in designated areas. However, other amenities are minimal here; there are no electricity, showers, or water services available.

Lake Meredith is just south of Sugar City, a charming town that was once the site of the United State’s only independently owned sugar operation. Fans of turn-of-the-century architecture will definitely want to take a stroll around Sugar City to catch a glimpse of buildings from a bygone era.
