This small town is located in the flatter, southwest region of the Rocky Mountain State. Trinidad is situated off of I-25, only about 15 miles from the border with New Mexico. It is the largest town in the nearby area. The larger city of Pueblo is located about 85 miles to the north, while Denver, the state's capital, is located over 200 miles away.

Museums, memorials, art galleries, antique shops, historical sites and districts and plenty of delicious restaurants are located nearby. There are also several parks and unique natural areas, not to mention scenic drives available throughout the region.

THE GREAT OUTDOORS
