You will be amazed that some of the things associated with cars are not as modern as we like to think; for example, electric cars, aluminium bodies and engines, and rotary engines. None of the exhibits are roped off, so you will have the opportunity to examine them closely. They are all accompanied by informative panels. Most of the cars here are European, many are one-of-a-kind, and they are driven regularly. There is a shop next door, where they restore cars.

There are over 20 acres of beautiful botanical gardens, nine historic buildings, including Edison's botanic research laboratory, and a museum, which contains an amazing collection of artifacts, inventions, and special exhibit galleries. Here you will be able to learn about all of Edison's inventions and how he influenced the discovery of many things. The doors and windows to the houses are open and you can peek in, but you are not allowed inside. All the rooms are furnished in the way they were when Edison and Ford lived there. After the two to three hour tour, you can relax and have a meal in the Banyan Refreshment Area.
