CJ as a host was excellent. Everything was as expected via photos provided with the RV. There were some miscommunications around how we intended to use the RV for “boondocking” which we made clear prior to pick up. We were reassured we would have plenty of energy via generator with propane. The RV unfortunately was not charged and we did not have a way to do so before the trip. The generator needs the energy supply from the RV to power the generator. Also the solar panels do not appear to work either as a way to charge the RV or generator. I would recommend if you book with him to ensure the RV is changed before pick up or without a way to charge. The host was very apologetic and otherwise very accommodating like including a mattress for the bed area! He was communicative during the trip and attempted to trouble shoot with us during the trip as well which we appreciated as did not the solar panels did not work until then. We would absolutely book with CJ in the future as the overall experience was positive and it is a very nice well taken care of camper van.
