Sleeps 2
11 ft. long
Pet friendly

Find yourself in secluded Bureau of Land Managed (BLM) desert, out in a forest, high up on an elevated view, in regular camp sites, backed up to a beach.. Pull, sleep, repeat. Enjoy various points on a coast line in one trip!Take our towable-sleeper to your desired camping locations and enjoy them in simplicity. Easy to pull, also light, and easy to set up a camp.We are located in San Bernardino County with the National Forest not too far, Big Bear Lake about an hour away, and the desert an hour and a half.If your trip plans are out of the way of our pick up location in San Bernardino County, consider having us make a delivery and pick up.What's includedWe are taking the bulk of the stress of packing off your shoulders.Check our gear list for exactly what will be found on your arrival, but we suffice to say that you will have everything needed for sleeping and cooking. With freshly washed, white linens, two pillows and a comforter you will sleep well; being refreshed for the next day of activities.Outside the camper, set up the cooking part of your camp on a 4' x 2' foldable table. Use the double propane burner provided along with pots, pans to cook, a kettle to heat water and the french press to seep coffee, but do remember to bring your favorite roast. For preparing food and eating you should find all the basics, along with a couple lighters.A couple more things are two foldable chairs and two mats for setting at any two of the campers doors. One last mention. Our air conditioner and heater (provided in the cold months) can be powered through our 50 foot extension cord plugs into the front outlet on trailer. Solar can run the fan and radio all day, lights, charge phones and even some more. Bigger powered items need "shore power" or a generator (Not included)RecommendationsWe recommend a beach side stay for sure, and in general anywhere with facilities.Although BLM land is a whole other experience: private and wild, extras for bathing, using restroom and quite possibly more power for the air conditioner or heater would be lacking. Also check out lands made available to camp on; using Hipcamp.comTheir options can find you secluded yet with certain amenities. We will send you over a detailed suggestion list along with a quote.Other things to noteA 5' x 8' trailer is going to be relatively easy to pull and back provided you have some experience under your belt. The backing is perhaps sensitive, yet this depends on the wheelbase of your vehicle.
Just back slow and you will be propped up in camp soon enough.
As for pulling and turning it follows so well, does not sway or bounce and I personally find it easy to maneuver.Other side of using a trailer is hooking up properly: mounting, locking, chaining, light connection, turning the trailer jack out of the way. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.Our provided gear is either in the trailer or the front box, and the checklist let's you know what is on board. Power invertor has an on/off switch box on the inner front wall and on the invertor in the front box. Click that either way to get power to the inside outlet. We provided an air pump for tires that plugs into a car's cigarette lighter. Found in the black box on the tongue of the trailer, use in any case necessary. That about covers what it takes to take out the Simple Sleeper.

Have a question?Get answers directly from the host

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Manager is on site, so we may have more flexibility than the next trailer owner. One factor would be a back-to-back rental, then returns would be more on the early side and strict.

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
Yes!! I have a very thorough "Simple Sleeper Cheat Sheet" I can send this PDF by email.

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Electric: The receptacle at the front of the trailer (Right side and black) is for either the solar system OR the camp outlet. If you have limitless power at the camp site you choose go ahead use it. Use a camp outlet; plugging our provided yellow extension cord in order to run big electric loads like the heater (when cold) and air conditioner (when hot). Using our short cord, from the invertor to the trailer outlet, will power the one inside outlet for radio, cell phone, laptop, etc.
