Lake Rabun is located in northeastern Georgia, between the towns and cities of Helen, GA, Clayton, GA, and Greenville, SC. The lake was created in 1915, with the damming and impoundment of the Tallulah River. Originally the lake was created for its water storage and hydroelectrical capabilities but soon gained a reputation for its fantastic recreation. Lake Rabun’s recreational possibilities, combined with its picturesque location, make it the ideal place to take an RV rental. Getting to the lake with a motorhome rental is easy, with Highway 23 passing near its eastern shores.
