The park is located just south of the small town of Nashville. It is also an hour's drive east of St. Louis, Missouri, which is the nearest large city. Other cities within easy driving distance include Mt. Vernon and Evansville, Indiana.

There are two boat ramps within the park, as well as boat docks. Boat rentals are also available if you didn't bring watercraft of your own. Powered boats are allowed, though motors shouldn't exceed 10 horsepower. You can go fishing in the lake via boat or just along the shoreline. Several species are living in the lake; anglers can hook largemouth bass, sunfish, carp, bluegill, crappie, and channel catfish.

RV camping at Washington County State Park is an enjoyable experience thanks to the many shaded sites there. Most sites have electrical hookups, and there are dump stations for your convenience. In the middle of the park, there is a building with showers and restrooms. The showers are open from the beginning of April through the end of October.

Had a great experience at Kincaid Lake. Brett arrived with camper and had it set up in 30 minutes. Had everything in the camper I needed especially the a/c , which worked great. Plan on using them every year for my annual fishing trip.

We had a GREAT time! This was our first time renting a RV and using Outdoorsy and it was a great experience. The RV was just like the pictures and had a lot of helpful items that were available for us to use. We had good communication with our host and coordinated drop off and pick up.
