First of all this RV is no longer a luxury RV maybe in 2018 but no longer. When I picked up the RV the inside was filthy, was dirt, yellow sticky stuff all over in the bathroom, used face masks in the seat cushions from past renters. My wife spent an hour cleaning inside before we even put our stuff in it. So I will summarize the rest of the trip quickly.
Back emergency window that was lost by previous renters and was poorly fixed with a piece of plexiglass and tape 2 days into my 8 day trip fell out and was gone. So now we have no back window for the whole trip someone has to stay behind so nobody breaks in and steals our stuff. The owner didn’t offer to have someone come fix it just instructed me to put up plastic, said he thought that would have been fixed before we rented it.
The door stopper broke before I even left the pick up spot from RV resort. When I returned RV the woman who checked the RV in said that thing breaks every time.
The parking break light wouldn’t turn off so the brake alarm would go off the whole time you driving.
The bad air detector alarm was going off all the time with a bad ammonia smell coming from the bathroom when driving so had to pull over all the time until alarm went off.
The front automatic steps stopped folding up half way through the trip so I had to stay out side every time we stopped and physically hold up the steps until they stayed up and then climb in the drivers side door. Which the handle to climb in is broken and barely holding on so you can’t use it.
The drivers seat broke stuck all the way back because the electric seat sticks and blew the fuse to the seat. Took a few to figure that out and then get fuses to fix it.
The AC unit in the bedroom wasn’t working the first day from the moment we got it. The breaker was tripped in bedroom had to figure that one out.
Had to run the generator a lot more due to RV issues, had to buy a hotel room one night to stay in because of the air quality alarm, trip took longer than planned because of RV issues.
The owner of this RV lives in the Philippines and has someone else taking care of it. His own words said to me he hasn’t been in the RV in over 2 years. I don’t think he really knows the shape his RV is really in. Before I brought the RV back I set it up at my house and opened all the slides and cleaned the whole inside and mopped the floor, brought it back WAY cleaner than when we picked it up, and the owner who lives in the Philippines and hasn’t set foot in RV in 2 years writes that he doesn’t think I even tried to clean the inside! And then finds enough things to charge me for (most of which were from past renters) or not true that he owes me magically .25 cents of my deposit back. Very shady and unprofessional experience. Not only will I not be renting a motorhome again but it also soured me on ever wanting to own one.

Jack’s answer

Clyde, I am sorry that you had some issues and that you felt you needed to say some things that are Not True. I have 16 - 5 Star reviews and 2 - 4 Star reviews, because I do care Very Much about each renter and their experience. RV's will have some issues, because there are A Lot of things that can go wrong. But, we have tried very hard to keep up the maintenance on our RV.

This trip was something we needed after a long lock down. It was just me and my wife on a 11 day trip. This RV suited our needs perfectly, much more then two people needed but was super comfortable and very easy to drive. We visited the Lake Tahoe area as well as Mammoth Mountain. We decided to "Dry" camp the inter trip. (No Hook Ups) as we wanted our space between neighbors and better scenery. That turned out to be a good choice. We would do this again in a heart beat. Sometimes RV's come with hiccups and this was no different. That's RVing so be prepared if your a first time renter. Most are very small things to deal with and this was no exception. Here's the difference renting this RV. Jack the owner is on top of it, if you have any questions small or big, Jack is "Johnny on the spot" and gets right back to you very quickly. If your a first time renter, this is the RV to rent, you won't regret it.

Excellent experience from pick up to drop off. Jack and his team Ken and Nancy took care of everything. RV was clean and loaded with everything you could imagine for a top notch glamping experience. With triple slide outs, a full size refrigerator, and Wifi it was our luxury home on wheels. Our first class A trip and it could not have been better.

Took the rig from Indio to Arizona. Loads of storage space for 2 people and a 40-lb service dog. We had a few hiccups but the owner, Jack was extremely responsive to all of our questions. We really appreciate all his help and the folks he has assisting him (Ken/Nancy) who do the walk-arounds are also very nice & helpful people.
