My name's Shawn and I'm married to Sarah. I've a daughter, Penelope, 13. She's with us during the Summer. We got stationed in Key West in Summer of 2024. We've 23 years of Coast Guard service and plan on retiring after this tour. We love meeting people and sharing our interests and stories. We love concerts, and Sports Events (Go Seahawks LOL). My passion is wine, learning about it, talking about it, and best of all....Drinking it with friends and loved ones. My wife's passion is travelling the world and visiting museums. She's been to more places than most people I know. My daughters passion right now is makeup, clothes, friends, and don't let me forget phone. She definitely doesn't like hanging out with old Dad. Our family's goal is retire in the next 3 years and travel exploring new corners of the world and trying every type of wine we can. We want to give you the experience we would want to have when going on a trip. If not, we want to talk to you and see what could be better.

Deposit scam alert, we didn't cook or use any plates, this was an extra camper for unexpected guests to sleep in. The two ladies used the rest room one time as the camp sight had nice restrooms and showers. This Shawn guy charged our deposit in full citing a plumbing back up and extra cleaning requirement. He knew we would never rent it again and I rule e he just wanted to steal as much as he could get away with. We are in dispute resolution now but this guy is one of those who tries to keep your deposit without cause. Stay away from any of his rentals, what a disgrace to the coast guard who are supposed to be honorable men but not his guy. He is another despicable Key West scam artist.

I am disappointed to see this review especially since Rod confirmed via text that his experience was “awesome.” At checkin, I personally provided a full walkthrough of the RV, including septic system instructions, and my direct number for support. No issues were raised during the 10 days. Upon return, the septic valve was left open, causing a backup requiring 3 hours of repair. Trash, towels, and personal items were scattered on the floor contradicting later claims that the RV was clean and unused. Portion of the security deposit was withheld under the rental agreement and platform policy. After being informed, Rod denied responsibility, claimed the RV was faulty, and is disputing a refund. I would like to address comments about my Coast Guard service and the Key West community, which are inappropriate and do not reflect the professionalism with which I run my rentals or the hospitality of our community. I take pride in both and will continue to treat guests with respect and fairness
