This self-guided hike, known as Pirate's Alley, leads you past oaks, pines, magnolia, and more. There's also a pier over Mud Bayou's canal, giving birdwatchers a chance to spot pelicans, osprey, and egrets. Another fun way to immerse yourself in the beautiful natural surroundings of Buccaneer State Park is to play a round of disc golf. The par three, 18-hole course stretches over more than 6,000 feet, providing a good physical workout as well as an enjoyable challenge for campers of all ages. There's no charge to play, so campers can feel free to enjoy as many rounds as they want.
