Let's start with a few questions to narrow down your options.

Halfway between Bozeman and Billings on the Interstate 90 corridor, Big Timber is a tiny town of a few thousand people. This charming locale takes its name originally from Big Timber Creek, which was in turn named for the massive cottonwood trees that dot the area. The town was first established in the 1880s, but it was not economically viable until the arrival of the Northern Pacific Railroad arrived in town. After connecting with other cities via railway, Big Timber became a major wool-shipping depot.
Although it remained small throughout its existence, Big Timber was designated the seat of Sweet Grass County in 1895. In 1908, a tragic fire swept through town, devastating the local community and wiping out over a third of its buildings.
Like most places in Montana, Big Timber is an ideal place to rent an RV due in large part to its epic natural surroundings. When you book an RV in Big Timber, you’ll have so many places to choose from, and all the freedom and flexibility in the world to tailor your trip to your exact specifications.
